The Colony

An imaginary story about a very possible dystopian future

With an advance of tens of millions of years of evolution before man, the social system of bee may predict the future of modern social systems, towards which human civilization tends.

I will list a few after a brief context.

The oldest bee fossil is about 96 million years old, from the Cretaceous era. The honey bee will be discovered a few million years later. The first humans are thought to have appeared about 3 million years ago in the region of Ethiopia today. The bees appeared with the flowers. Which makes this evolution even more fascinating. For without bees, the earth was a desert. And about 90 million years before man. Which is even more fascinating!

If you’re wondering how they survived climate change, how they survived extinctions when dinosaurs failed, how they adapted to the environment, well, I don’t know! Probably not even science can explain how some insects were able to survive such drastic changes in a short time, caused by natural disasters and sudden changes in temperature.

From Superspecialization to Dynamic Classes

We are at a stage where we will overcome this division of human society by specializations. If we take the example of the Honey Bee, we will go through all the stages of development necessary for a society. We will not do one thing in life. We will start for example by sweeping the city streets and sorting the garbage (purely didactic things, the AI drone will do the hard work for us), then by volunteering in the nurseries, until the age of 22 we will finish the first specialisations, when we move on to things which requires more knowledge about the environment, nature, the cycle between production and consumption, storage and rationalization of resources, etc.

In adulthood we will learn high engineering skills, just as young but mature bees produce wax and build honeycombs, true wonders of architecture. Then we will probably be genetician doctors, and not in the last stage of life Security Guardians, who will guard the information at each access gate, who will analyze the code to be implemented, who will enter from outside and who will not enter in the new social order. Because the trend will be one of decentralization, not globalization, for the reasons listed below.

Selective reproduction

Bees gave up their sex glands more than 2.5 million years ago, to the detriment of a single bee, super-specialized in breeding, which we called the Queen. Although the Queen has a special status, bodyguards all the time and is fed royal jelly, but politically the Queen has no influence. She is more like a prisoner of the hive. A very important genetic basis, which will be sacrificed for the good of the community. Such individuals will be declared very important because of their genetic basis. This will lead to a multitude of families like medieval cities.

Their rights will be restricted to reproduction along with the useless idiots of society. The children will be raised in cells, will be fed by the subjects in the stage of the first dynamic classes. Hence the need to keep a class represented by the useless Idiots of society and the diversification of races. Because genetic engineering will reach that stage where the most important capital is genetic. There will be children based on algorithms, and the children will be related, raised in artificial pouches that mimic the placenta.

Useless idiots of the new society

They are the drones, or rather the useless idiots of society. They will not produce or do anything. But their presence will be tolerated due to this important genetics. Genetic engeneering may leed to degenerating quickly, precisely because of this selection. To ensure gene diversification, unnecessary idiots will be tolerated by the group.

They will be both the privileged class and the class that will be sacrificed first in case of famine, calamity and social imbalances. Useless idiots of society are important by their mere presence, as a negative example, as individuals on the margins of their social inclusion, being and not being part of society. They will be a minority.

The new universal socialism

It is related to the rationalization of resources, their fair distribution. The only ones who will have a preferential regime will be the surrogate mothers. And the first to be left to starve will be the useless idiots of society. At such times, however, society is on the brink of collapse and risks annihilation. So this condition will be avoided if possible. Both the resources and the means of production will be managed by each individual, going through all the stages of the dynamic classes.

Diversification. Race theory.

Everyone tells me that there will be no more races in the future. The trend seems to be contradicted by the new theory of race. I know the emphasis is now on eliminating these differences. But in the future they will be essential. Because due to selective reproduction, recessive characters will be in high demand (but not the dominant ones that degenerate the species).

That is why we will see an explosion of races, which we will try to support as pure as possible, through the useless Idiots of society, as a genetic basis for hybridizing the species, that is, individuals who are part of the dynamic classes of society. This aspect will lead to the description of the society on ethnic and racial grounds, but according to new criteria (non-discriminatory and objective) than the current ones.

The value system, only one political view

How is it possible for the group to reach a consensus? Collective intelligence is more important than the genius of a single individual. Precisely by the fact that individuals will be connected to the network, that is, to the collective, telepathic mind, an absolute collective decision will be possible. In an study published by Thomas Seeley, it is explained the political system of the colony. This is possible due to the 7 principles:

• group members share the same goal (Enlightenment)
• group members possess a diversity of dynamic classes
• group members share this information freely (no one is rewarded for their work);
• the members of the group are honest about the information (they do not hide the information they have);
• all this is possible because the members do not have personal pride;
• Intelligence is transmitted collectively but not individually;
• The sum of the decisions of a medical group does more than the decision of a single individual, be he brilliant;
• The survival of the species is given by the average intelligence of that species.

Sacrifice of individuality

The only tolerated individuals will be the useless Idiots of society. The rest will be part of a single collective mind. This collective mindset is made possible by social communication networks, which will be telepathic and will control both feelings and instincts. Everything is possible thanks to the platforms to which they will be connected, through which any weakness, pain, individual injustice will be felt collectively. This idea that the team is fined for the mistake of a single individual will create a membership in the group.

The stage of contagion will be reached, specific to the infantile state through which it is not differentiated between the Self and the collective Ego. Through group psychosis, through psychological non-differentiation. Like a child who cries only because he hears other children crying, and who identifies with his mother. Thus the democratic process will be a collective unconscious. Decisions will be automatic, and will represent the collective will, without opposition, but only an absolute majority. In this process, the useless idiots of society are totally excluded.

Isolation, Eradication and Enlightenment

Those who are sick or degenerate, or those who have gone through all the Dynamic Classes will be encouraged to leave the Society. They will be encouraged to find their individuality outside of it. But outside of their group, they will not be able to survive, so they will gladly accept their fate. Those with contagious diseases will have the same treatment.

They will make this decision on their own, for the good of the community, without any resentment. It is considered that their cycle was complete and that this freedom to die as individuals alone in the land of promise is the main goal of group existence. Escape from the nest and swarm. That is, touching the Enlightenment.
